Job Title: Territory Sales Executive

Reporting line: Territory Manager – Sales

Location:

Reporting office will be New Delhi. The area of operation shall be at district level in UP/Bihar/Haryana. The company shall add more locations based on individual’s capability and company’s requirements

Background:

The Territory Sales Executive generates sales at the district level by building effective sales channel and leverage the existing network established by the company. He shall be reporting to Territory Manager – Sales.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

The Territory Sales Executive performs a wide range of duties including (but not limited to) the following:
– Be responsible for Sales in Rural areas through direct contact with the rural consumers/ channel partners
– Responsible for achievement of targets
– Generate leads and convert them into sales
– Responsible for team’s target allocation and achievements
– Meeting farmers/ group of farmers and sharing the system benefits with them
– Meeting bank managers and other stake holders for facilitation of system sales
– Execute various marketing plans as planned by the head of department
– Proposal making
– Competition mapping and analysis
– Ensure customer satisfaction
– Network generation and maintenance
– Coordination with internal teams
– Interaction and relation building with Bankers in various districts and villages
– Ensure payment collection
– MIS reporting

Qualifications & Experience:

a. Education:
– The candidate should at least have a graduate degree preferably in Agriculture/ Economics/Science.
– Post graduate program in Agri Business Management will be preferred

b. Experience:
1-3 years of sales experience especially in rural areas. Fresher may also be considered if the candidate has the right skill set.

c. Knowledge, skills and abilities:
– Experience in sales
– Integrity is of utmost importance
– Individual should own a motorbike
– Should be willing to travel and stay in rural areas
– Self confident and reliant person
– Ability to use theoretical knowledge into practical application
– Ability to accept challenges and showcase performance
– Strong analytical skills to drive channel performance and drive profitability
– The individual should be enterprising
– Ability to work in a team environment.
– Good IT skills to include wide experience of word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint
– Good written and oral communications skills.
