3. Customer Obligations

Information Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information regarding your property, energy requirements, and other details necessary for solar system design and installation.

Site Access

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your property for site assessment, installation, maintenance, and monitoring activities.

Permits and Approvals

You agree to cooperate in obtaining necessary permits, approvals, and clearances from local authorities, electricity boards, and other relevant agencies.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment schedules will be as agreed in individual service contracts
  • All prices are subject to applicable taxes and government levies
  • Government subsidies, if applicable, will be adjusted as per prevailing schemes
  • Late payment charges may apply as specified in the contract
  • Financing options may be available through our partner institutions

5. Warranties and Performance

Product Warranties

Solar panels typically come with 25-year performance warranties from manufacturers. Inverters and other components have warranties as specified by respective manufacturers.

Installation Warranty

We provide workmanship warranty on our installations as specified in individual contracts, typically ranging from 2-5 years.

Performance Guarantee

System performance guarantees are subject to proper maintenance, weather conditions, and compliance with operating guidelines.

6. Maintenance and Support

  • Regular maintenance is essential for optimal system performance
  • Annual maintenance contracts (AMC) are available for comprehensive support
  • Remote monitoring services help track system performance
  • Customer support is available during business hours
  • Emergency support may be available for critical issues

7. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of services provided. We are not liable for:

  • Acts of nature, including extreme weather events
  • Grid failures or electricity board policy changes
  • Changes in government policies or subsidy schemes
  • Consequential or indirect damages
  • Loss of profits or business interruption

8. Regulatory Compliance

All installations comply with:

  • Central Electricity Authority (CEA) regulations
  • State electricity regulatory commission guidelines
  • Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) specifications
  • Local building codes and safety regulations
  • Environmental clearance requirements where applicable

9. Intellectual Property

All proprietary designs, software, monitoring systems, and technical documentation remain the intellectual property of CLARO Energy Limited or our technology partners.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate services as per the terms specified in individual contracts. Termination does not affect accrued rights and obligations.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through:

  • Good faith negotiations between parties
  • Mediation through mutually agreed mediators
  • Arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 2015
  • Courts in New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi.
